20-Minutes with Laura Bush

I have a 20-minute meeting scheduled with Laura Bush tomorrow. She requested to meet with me because she loves my new book. I try to meet with my fans whenever I get a chance, but it gets tough with my hectic schedule.

She was a bit disappointed that I could only meet with her for twenty minutes, but that’s the way it must be. I’m a busy Pope. I have souls to pray for so they can get out of purgatory.

How come she gets an advance copy? Amazon won't ship it till February 14.

I think she's lying. The librarian thing has got to be a sham.

I noticed there's been no mention of George reading the book, Too hard? I guess he is still reading "My Pet Goat".

You do realize that she is an Episcolian! HERETIC!! I hope you are going to try to convert her to the only correct way to worship JC.

Is Jenna coming too? I would hope so she seems so awesome! Unlike her stick in the mud sister Barbara.

She should be grateful she's getting 20, Your Holiness.

Glad to hear you don''t waste your papal time, but keep busy thinking about those tormented souls. Someone has to!

Your Holiness, anyone else would be thrilled with 20 minutes of your time. She's a b*tch to question you.

His Holiness only eliminated Limbo. Purgatory is still in fine shape.

I hope you're not praying for anyone without being paid for it. That's Catholic tradition, you know. After all, you're worth it! ...Perhaps you should charge Laura, too...

Your holiness, Laura Bush is Methodist. The Shrub converted when he married her. Shrub, Sr., and the Quaker Oats lady are Episcopalians. Just thought I would set that record straight. Don't know why I care, really...?
