Concerning Marriage
Since I’ve launched this blog, I’ve received several marriage proposals by email. I appreciate their interest in me, but I have to tell them that I can’t get married for Biblical reasons.
Besides, you’d never want to confess your sins to a jilted Pope. It’s bad enough to confess your sins to me when I have indigestion. I’m liable to excommunicate you.

Well, you are in control of the rules regarding Papal marriage. If the Spirit's moves you, you could find biblical reason the Pope being married would be good the Church. Like meeting with two world leaders and not wanting to offend either by paying too much attention to one. A wife would be perfect to keep one busy until it's time to "tag out."
Well, my dear Pope Joe, I'd like for you to point out exactly where in the Bible it says that Popes can't marry. Oh, gosh. Forgive me. There is no mention of "pope" in the Bible. Silly me.
Honey, the only person in the Bible who suggests that anyone should not marry is Paul. And he suggests that NO ONE marry.
So, what do you think? Was Paul gay?
