Concerning Communism

I think "Gilligan's Island" and the "Smurfs" are good proofs that communism works. If only we could get a dictator like Gilligan or Papa Smurf to lead us.

I would do it, but we need to have some separation between church and state. Nobody wants to be in Mass every morning like me. Although, I do think people would appreciate the wine I serve.

Gilligan may have worshipped coconuts, which are free and won't get him slapped. Anyway, I've always thought Skipper was the dictator of Gilligan's Island.

Yeah, I suppose Communism could work with those people running it. Obviously it doesn't work with all those other weirdos that have tried it.

I hope you are using Manischewitz. Otherwise, it's no good.

Papa Smurf had to be one strong dictator! Think about it - all those smurfs and only one smurfette. How he maintained order is beyond me.

You're so right about "Gilligan's Island", the "Smurfs", and communism! I think the problems that the folks on "Lost" are having spring from the fact that they're resisting communism. Their island governing is far too capitalistic in nature.

Ask the Pope, huh?

So, if it's Ask the Pope, can you answer the following question:

Is John Titor right about the future? (What are your thoughts on this issue?)

I know you're not Miss Cleo, but I figured your Holiness could respond.

Thister, Titor is a fraud. I think the "Back to the Future" movies provide ample proof that time travel is impossible. Although "Back to the Future II" is a little more convincing.

Titor's views on economcs and communism are interesting, but I still think the Smurf's had a much better idea.

Right on, right on!

What about the whole "KKK" speculation behind the Smurf's though?

It's all a lie. The smurfs are a peaceful tribe. They don't have one ounce of racism in their bodies.

In fact, I don't even think they weigh an ounce. I'll have to check on that.

"Survivor" is a very bad example of Communism.

I knew there was a model of communism that worked. And Mom said I was wasting my time watching so much tv as a kid.

Ha!

I was wondering who we would need to petition to replace the wine with some Tennessee brewed corn liquor? I think that if we at least had the option, church attendance would skyrocket, and that means more $$ for you!! Bradsblog

If there were only one blog in the whole world, I would hope that it was yours. There are many, many, fine blogs, but "Ask the Pope" kicks butts. It's the best.

Thanks for blessing my blog with a visit. Only your holiness could be so omnipresent. You visit, and therefore bless, many blogs.

Reading between the lines here, but might a 12 step program be in order (it's the wine comments that give me pause...)

That's blasphemy!! Replace the holy commnuion wine? I'm sure the Popoeman will have nothing to do with that crazy idea. Replace the communion wine. Now replacing those crappy wafers, that would be different.

Might want to consider replacing the wafers with the snowballs too. Between the overstimulation and focus on the wines and the vending machines, His Holiness might be making some dramatic changes at the Vatican!

How about changing the wafers into burgers then we could leave the church both spiritually and tummy edified!
