Merry Christmas, My Peeps!

As you can imagine, I've been pretty busy buying gifts for all my cardinals. I'm buying mostly gift certificates. Any other gift ideas for them?

My office is getting loaded up with cheap gift baskets filled with random food products (which require no refrigeration). I'm a little scared to eat the cube of "cheese flavor."

Dear Mr. Pope,
Gift certificates??? They all deserve the new video iPods, at the very least. They'll be able to download your sermons/masses to play over and over again. Practical AND fun!

Stay away from anything called cheese flavor or cheese food. It's not a good sign if they have to tell you that it's food.

For gifts, Gift certificates and cash are always cheerfully accepted. Please feel free to send me some.

Your cardinals might enjoy the Bible read in Latin on CD.

Eat plenty of almonds to balance out all the bad stuff.

You could always re-gift all those cheap gift baskets to your cardinals. It would be fun to see their faces as they bite into those cheese cubes and then exaggerate about how delicious they are.

Nice to see you back, Papa. Been missing your blog; a Starbucks gift card is always nice for a break from those stressful Vatican days.

Thank you, Your Holiness, for wishing us a Merry Christmas.

Don't let those people still wishing for JPII get you down.
